Shaya Cohen has been writing for a decade about what the Torah tells us about the meaning of the text and how it speaks to each of our lives today and every day. The interpretations are deeply faithful to the text itself, with the specific goal of letting the text itself tell us what it means.
The end result is a comprehensive explanation not of what the Torah tells us, but why it tells us what it does. The Torah is not a work on what already exists, or how nature works. Instead, the Torah is a prescriptive guide for what can be, a guidebook for a relationship with our Creator.
